TY:DEL is an indie-pop band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I approached them and offered to create the artwork for their collaboration track "No Heartbreaks" with Khai Zhen.

“No Heartbreaks” is a pop-punk track - The idea for the artwork was to emulate the angsty and punk/trap element of the song, which was inserted in the first few drafts of the artwork.

Tim, one of the members of TY:DEL, eventually came up with the sketch of having a heart-shaped candy in an open mouth, with the artists’ names “TY:DEL” and “Khai Zhen” on top and bottom of the teeth.

The final artwork features Tim's cropped-out mouth, vibrant-coloured alphabet beads, and a heart-shaped marshmallow candy with "X</3,” symbolizing the song title.
